Roads in Gampaha flooded by the relentless rain

The Road Development Authority is responsible for large number of floods as they do not provide sufficient drainage. Also they do not maintain road side drains. Action should be taken to get them to carry out maintenance, as floods cause heavy expenses to the public.

What a developed country we are. We have to be proud of the development done by our politicians. We should have vehicles that could go on the roads as well as water.

NONE ever complained about this flooding and lack of or Blocking of drains whilst Carpeting Roads, when GR and UDA did the maintenance on all these roads in cities and suburbs!!?? What a weird country, because of Obsession with White Vans and Kidnapping or American KKK!!??

In other countries when it rains the water disappears, in Sri Lanka when it rains the roads dissapear.
