Retired teachers protest

IF IN GOOD HEALTH SOME OF THESE RETIRED TEACHERS COULD WORK AS PART TIME TEACHERS IN AREAS THERE IS A SHORTFALL OF TEACHERS Friday, 07 November 2025 08:28 PM

INSTEAD OF PROTESTING, WHY DON'T THESE SO CALLED RETIRED TEACHERS, GO BACK TO THEIR HOMES AND START BEING OF SERVICE TO THE COUNTRY BY ASSISTING THE GOVT IN EDUCATING THE MASSES IN THEIR HOMETOWNS, WHO HAVE BEEN LESS FORTUNATE AND ARE STRUGGLING TO GAIN EMPLOYMENT FOR THE LACK OF TEACHERS AND OR SCHOOLS IN THE REMOTE AREAS IN AND AROUND THEIR VILLAGES. HAVING RETIRED ONE HAS THE OPPORTUNITY TO HELP EDUCATE YOUR OWN CHILDREN, GRANDCHILDREN AND OR EXTENDED FAMILY SO THEY DO NOT HAVE TO FACE THE SAME MUSIC YOU LOT HAD TO FACE HAVING WORKED DURING THE PAST GOVTS RULING IN THE RECENT DECADE OR SO.

Most of these teachers just spent their teaching days by doing almost nothing . As a result , some capable individuals have made a fortune by conducting tuition classes from Grade 4 onwards. These individuals make their money and exit to focus on their properties and investments and new capable individuals enter the sector and once successful they too follow their predecessors. But government teachers have been just protesting during their entire life for everything.

These people did their job and worked to educate our lazy people for a pitiful pay.. then they are forced to retire. They should be appreciated for the service they provided. If the government is willing to change the retirement age, most of them would continue to provide good service to the country.

The people of this country know only to protest. Until they die want everything free. It is the governments that has spoiled them.
