Recently, there has been an increase in articles in which Ranil's personality and his politics are "glossed over"! This happens mainly during his visits to the rural population and specific "model companies" for election reasons! Even if the worst grievances of daily life have been alleviated, one must soberly state that the country's major central political and economic problems and needs continue unabated and await solutions! The country is far from a "corruption-free, humane and socially just society with good economic prospects"! And also from a policy that balances and unites ethnic differences!!! The all-important question in this election is whether such goals can ever be achieved with Ranil Wickremesigne, his dependencies and personal political "companions"!? That is what he must be judged on!!!

The President should visit more often. The place is nice and clean. I visited a place in Nuwara Eliya ( can’t remember name of farm) and the milking area including the milking machines were covered in cow dung.
