Polgolla reservoir reaches its spill level

Open all gates and warm all people in the villages around there and keep them safe and tell them not to go to near rivers ..Inform the public about the danger and take all precautions now and do not wait .

S..Silva . Thank you for your feedback ... authorities are waiting for any accidents happen and they are reactive but probative in our country...that is why many landslide; accidents and flood take place ..all what we can do is to tell them and warn them

At least Victoria power station can operate full time. I believe Ukuwela can't do the same because of the floods. in that area.

The Polgolla reservoir (or rather the barrage) is almost always at spill level. What has happened is that the gates have been opened to let the excess water flow.
