Terrifying new footage of the New York City helicopter crash that killed a family of five, including three young children, appears to show the cause of the tragedy that occurred over the Hudson River.

The sightseeing chopper plummeted into the water at 3.15pm on Thursday, killing Agustín Escobar, a Siemens executive from Spain, his wife Merce Camprubi Montal and their three young children, along with the 36-year-old pilot. (Daily Mail)

Those sightseeing tours were being taken by many on daily basis. But for unspecified reasons, the tragic accident occurred. The risks are involved in anything including travel in Sri Lankas roads. Without risks , human ls would not achieve anything. It is lack of risk management that is causing most of the accidents.

VERY SAD, A YOUNG FAMILY WIPED OUT ON FLIGHT WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SIGHT SEEING. I HOPE THE PARENTS HAVE GOT FAMILY MEMBERS WHO WILL TAKE OVER AND MAKE SURE A FULL INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATION IS HAD SO THE CAUSE OF THIS TRAGIC INCIDENT IS BROUGHT TO LIGHT. The owners of the Company of these helicopters should have ensured that the maintenance of all aspects should comply to the highest level to be airborne before take off and landing like all passenger airlines who do regular checks. When this does not happen it is disaster. Now different reasons maybe adduced to get off the hook but lives have been lost. RIP !!!!!!
