These protectors of 'Bodu Urumaya' have forgotten one fundamental part of Buddha's teachings. That is, that, however much one tries to protect something constructed by a cause is impermanent. Only one thing is beyond this and that is NIRVANA. So instead of wasting time and collecting Karma by ill will, get into a corner, calm down and start to meditate. And that would be the ultimate gratitude one can show towards the Buddha and his teachings. This is applicable to people on both sides of the argument.
