Sri Lankan students from the Burhani Serendib School in Colombo who participated in the International Creativity and Innovation Awards 2024 in Thailand arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) last night. These students won the Titanium Award (second highest) for their exceptional display in the field of robotics, at the finals held yesterday (28) while competing with 25 countries. Over 1,000 students representing 441 teams from four continents participated in the International competition. This is the first time Sri Lanka has competed in such a global event displaying their robotic skills. Pix by T.K.G. Kapila

If it is done with 1000 students from different 25 countries around the world; we should consider this as a great achievement for us...with little bit of facilities we excell in education.. Sri lanka must enrich its human resources..it richness lies in its human development and we need to bring out our potentials in all areas of human resources development. It can be singing It can be writing It can be palyjng It can be invention It can be discovery It can be research It can be maths competition. Any areas.. Our talents and skills are hidden..why not market our skills and talents ???
