Janaprith Fernando honoured
Mr. Janaprith Fernando, Chief Commissioner of the Sri Lanka Scout Association, Consultant to the World Organisation of the Scout Movement (WOSM), and former member of the World Scout and Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Committees, receiving the prestigious International Friendship Award from the National Scout Organization of Thailand during the National Scout Day Rally at The National Stadium, Bangkok, on 1st July 2025. The ceremony, attended by 30,000 scouts and leaders, was graced by General Surayud Chulanont, representative of His Majesty King Rama X. The event was attended by 30,000 scouts and leaders from across the country.
