'Imaginative Freedom'



Krishantha Subash’s 'Imaginative Freedom' exhibition of paintings and prints is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Siam Nivasa, C.W.W. Kannangara Mawatha, Colombo 07, until March 17. 

With a career spanning over four decades, Krishantha Subash has been actively involved in artistic practice since the early 1980s. His first solo exhibition was held at the Ambalangoda Town Hall in 1984, the same year he won first place in the All-Ceylon Dhamma School Painting Competition.

In 1988, he presented his second solo exhibition, Chithrana 88, at the Lionel Wendt Gallery, further cementing his presence in the Sri Lankan art scene.  Pix by Kithsiri de Mel
