Experiment by making a comment like “India is a threat to Sri Lanka” , “ Indian Army committed war crimes in Jaffna “ or “China is a friend of Sri Lanka” then you would see immediate counter comments Defending India and Insulting the comments. Then you wonder how could this happen in a Sri Lankan newspaper. This is more important than getting new naval ships.
