Aren't many, if not most, of these people wearing spectacles with plastic and clothes made from artificial material derived from oil? Should be asked to remove everything with a bit of plastic before participating in a protest of this nature.

There is a big difference between unavoidable and avoidable plastic. Fact is that plastic is a hugh environment hazzard and I fully agree with Jab : the corporate influence should focus on ban, ristict and innovation.

@Roisin : Plastic is still plastic. Unavoidable it may be which means, it is premature and hypocritical to protest against plastic. This is just another 21st century unnecessary beat up. Manage plastic disposal in a responsible manner and half the problem is solved. The other half will come with time and clever inventions.

One step at a time great moove...we cant stop but can minimize to protect the environment specialy waterways marine life's etc etc every country and every person should participate to help protect the environment and the planet many year's to come ..
