The Disabled War Heroes Association and the Sathya Paramita Foundation held a public protest march today (19) along Gotami Road near Borella, Colombo, against what they described as a “hunt for war heroes” by the Government. The protesters also carried banners opposing commemorative events held in remembrance of LTTE leader V. Prabhakaran, calling for such events to be discontinued. Pix by Nisal Baduge
