That picture of a man pulling a load of goods always make me think ..in this day and age could there not be an easier way to earn a living ..and why through the crowded streets of a city ? Still we are trying to use cheap labor for moving goods are we not? This person could be made employable differently for he seems to have a healthy physique to pull weights ..not aney pavu person , but making do with what is available ..

Due to the economic crisis in spite of their body health they are toiling. Because the most of the labourers are depending on daily wages being paid by the employers. Thus these innocent labourers are getting very poor salaries which aren’t sufficient enough to buy their day to day essential commodities. Whatsoever either their pay masters or employers are booming by heaping up big money. This is the reality of the life style of the strenuous labourers who are residing in Colombo city
