They are the economic back bones to Ceylon / Sri Lanka since their ancestors were brought to Ceylon from South India, to work on tea, coffee and rubber estates.Similarly, the West Indians were brought to the UK, to run the train and bus services. The Indians brought to Manchester to run the cotton mills. The Italians brought to Luton/ Bedford to work on tile factories.

Constitution guarantees that every citizen is treated equally without any discrimination. Refer article 12(1), 12(2) which is specific that no discrimination of any citizen. Article 12(4) specifies that subordinate legislation or executive action may be enacted for advancement of women, children and disabled. The rainbow community if decimated most certainly are in some cases can take up as FR violations. Demanding special privileges itself is a violation of the constitution. They need empathy but not sympathy. Their abnormal sexual orientation is not their fault probably genetic or mental issues. Treat them equally, fairly, give then equal opportunities but not special status. In fact a bill was published in 2024 as Gender Equality bill, it never went to the parliament.

Before anyone judges them, just remember they are all human beings with feelings and want to feel they are part of society. All over the world these LGBTQ people have been discriminated, and even killed for who they are. Just be compassionate and tolerant.

If your choice is a gay lifestyle that's a sexual preference practiced in private...not a 'RIGHT' to display and make a social or political issue by trying to ride piggy back on the reasonable demands of the hardworking estate employees....Heterosexuals don't march around either asking for sexual rights - this is a leftwing liberal agenda that has caused chaos in the west..now subtlety being injected to contaminate our society through NGO funds.
