D. S. Senanayake College revives teacher–student bond

The '88 Batch of D. S. Senanayake College, Colombo, recently conducted a special commemorative ceremony to mark the 20th anniversary of their monthly medical clinic dedicated to the health and well-being of retired teachers.

The Department of Posts officially issued a special commemorative stamp, a first-day cover, and a commemorative coin to mark the occasion.

The ceremony was graced by Professor Aloka Pathirana and Professor Ajith Malalasekera as the guests of honor.

D. S. Senanayake College, Colombo, was founded on February 10, 1967, under the visionary leadership of I. M. R. A. Iriyagolla and the beloved founding principal R. I. T. Alles.
