This kind of event happens here, because of the long term corrupt conduct of past Presidents with their wasteful celebrations of personal matters. I recollect with Mahinda had 10,000 Sanga come for his birthday event, all borne by the State/Public purse, while he was President.

The SJB leader will be most unhappy not to have been invited to it. Even the pariah of the UNP, the man who took the UNP national seat, by trick Ravi K, got an invite and surely enjoyed the food and entertainment very much.

When a person is celebrating a happy occasion irrespective of religious status normally we should not make adverse comments and if we cannot extend him best wishes it is better to shut one's trap as venom is spouted. Remember" No Sword Raised against God's anointed shall Prosper" and there are consequences when one sits in judgement. Without being onlookers visit the Miracle Dome and experience the difference then anyone will think ten times before talking some rubbish!!!!

A genuine preacher and who claims he has the hotline to God, can be judged if he is genuine if he stays humble, and does NOT operate taking large donations. Take a look at his beginning, and then look at the opulence he has surrounded himself with, and the expensive designer watches and ridiculous costumes, to the vehicle he now travels in....and there you will realize that he is fleecing his naive and trusting flock. An honest preacher will reject the trappings and live a simple life the way Jesus Christ did.
