A vibrant Vesak celebration was held at the Ceylon-German Technical Training Institute (CGTTI) by the Renewable Energy students from both Moratuwa and Kilinochchi campuses. The festival, organized within the institute premises, brought students together to honor this sacred occasion with beautifully crafted lanterns, colorful decorations, and meaningful religious activities. The Ceylon-German Technical Training Institute (supported by Mercedes-Benz) is the only institution in Sri Lanka where young people receive a really sound education whose diplomas are recognised worldwide. However, Sri Lanka does not benefit from this, as all of them go abroad after their training, where they earn ten to twenty times more than in this country.
