Aid families hit by Cyclone Dithwa
Goods worth nearly two million were distributed by the All Island Private Pharmacy Owners Association among the people in Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, and Badulla who were affected by the floods and landslides caused by Cyclone Ditwah. The distribution was carried out with the assistance of the Grama Niladharis and Divisional Secretariats in the affected areas. The association also provided direct cash assistance of Rs. 15,000 per family to 69 families who lost their entire homes and Rs. 5,000 per family to 33 families whose homes were partially damaged.
