The National Front of Civil Organizations (NFCO) today staged a protest in front of the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) premises to express opposition to the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL), which is set to finalize the collection of public opinions for the upcoming electricity tariff revision. Out of 22,300,000 consumers of electricity in Sri Lanka, these jokers have found only four(4) protestors. Why so much publicity to these obstructionists with no social support?

Affordable power and utilities are key factors for developing the economy. It is simply NOT pay for what you use. The economic health of the 'working' class is important for all the 'upper' classes. No workers = No production = No money for all. Streamline the CEB to eliminate the waste and inefficiency. Lay-off excess staff (JVP will not like it). Hire competent and innovative engineers and managers even at a higher cost! but, less of them. Subsidize if you have to for greater health of the economy.
