Wow, this is sloth bears favorite. We should bring eraminiya, weera and dam to market. These are our berries, but we love to strawberry and blueberry instead

When I was a youngster we once wandered into the jungle during the Palu season. We came across a stand of Palu trees with a lot of fallen fruit beneath. We spotted three bears that appeared to be fast asleep there. We decided to get away quietly as bears can maul humans. My father explained that the bears were not just sleeping-they were dead drunk after gorging themselves on the alcohol in fermenting fruit!
