4x400 relay gold medallist felicitated

Kathara Indupa Silva, Sri Lanka's 4x400 relay gold medallist at the recent Indian Open World Athletics Meet, was felicitated yesterday by his school, Ananda Sastralaya Kotte, in the presence of his coach Sumith Jayantha (right). The Venerable Medagama Dhammananda Thero of the Kotte Raja Maha Viharaya donated a pair of running shoes to the athlete, along with the school’s principal, D.C. Nilmini Hamine.
