THIS IS A VERY GOOD BUDDHIST PRACRICE IN THAI SOCIETY . ALL MALES ARE EXPECTED TO BE ORDAINED AS A MONK ATLEAST FOR A SHORT PERIOD TEMPORALY .SRI LANKA TOO SHOULD LEARN TO HAVE THIS PRACTICE AS IT GIVES THE PEOPLE GOOD DISCIPLINE AND RESPECT THE RELIGION.
