Inivos, the fully-fledged enterprise resource planning (ERP) and technology solutions provider, has successfully completed its latest IFS implementation by launching IFS Applications at Empire Tea Kenya, the Kenyan operations of Empire Teas (Pvt.) Ltd, a premier exporter of quality Ceylon Teas and one of the leading exporters in Sri Lanka.
During Empire Tea’s expansion venture in Kenya, Inivos provided continuous support to the company by leveraging its expertise to drive transformative changes in its business operations. The latest milestone in this longstanding journey was achieved when Empire Tea Kenya successfully went live with IFS Applications.
This project lasted about three months and it was an incredible journey from start to finish. It covered every aspect of the tea business, from tea auctioning to supply chain, manufacturing, warehouse, sales and finance. It was a comprehensive transformation that truly revolutionised operations.
Inivos Chief Operating Officer Ayomi Gunawardena acknowledged her team’s efforts and provided the necessary resources to complete the project within the allotted time frame.
“Our team at Inivos is a group of highly capable, talented and experienced solutions-oriented individuals who are able to deliver results without the need for micromanagement. I am extremely proud of them for executing such a challenging project while being based remotely in Sri Lanka,” said Gunawardena.
From Empire Teas’ team, the project was overlooked by General Manager Operations Jeewaka Liyanage, who had high praise for the Inivos team. “This was an interesting project as the implementation was handled remotely. From the beginning itself, it was easy to work with Inivos as it had a great team to support us. Its team of consultants understood our unique needs and challenges and they provided the most suitable solutions tailored to Empire Teas,” said Liyanage.
