Fcode Labs invests in German coffee start-up Bunamo

Fcode Labs, a global product innovation and engineering company, has made a strategic investment in Bunamo, a Europe-based coffee-centric start-up, building a digital platform for coffee enthusiasts. 

Alongside the investment, Fcode Labs partnered with Bunamo to design and engineer a scalable product that brings together home baristas, professional roasters and coffee brands in one connected experience. 

Through the collaboration, Fcode Labs worked closely with Bunamo’s team to translate the start-up’s concept into a production-ready platform. The engagement focused on product design, engineering and go-to-market strategies ensuring the platform was built and launched to support content-driven interactions and future expansion across Europe and beyond.

Founded by Dr. Torben Gräber and Phill Kopp in Germany, Bunamo was created as a dedicated platform for coffee lovers to explore brewing recipes, discover roasters and brands and engage with a wider coffee community. 

Working from a user-centred design approach, Fcode Labs shaped an interface that prioritises clarity and ease of navigation for both casual users and experienced professionals. 

On the engineering side, Fcode Labs built a scalable architecture capable of supporting content-driven interactions such as recipe sharing and brand exploration. The platform was developed with a cloud-ready foundation to ensure reliability and performance as the user base grows.
