A delegation from the Fcode Labs, a leading software engineering company, recently visited several European countries with the aim of expanding its business and exploring partnerships.
It visited several major cities in Nordic and Central Europe early this month and engaged in several rounds of fruitful discussions with industry leaders and diplomats. The delegation met several industry leaders and diplomats at the Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Gothenburg, Sweden. The discussions focused on available business expansion and partnership opportunities in the region.
The delegation attended an event to launch a report pertaining to Sri Lanka’s information technology sector held at Asia House, Copenhagen, in Denmark. During the event, they engaged in lengthy discussions on challenges to enter Nordic markets, available opportunities in the region and matters pertaining to support extended by the government.
Moreover, the delegation participated in Retail Tech Exhibition 2023, at Kistamassan AB, Stockholm and showcased their software engineering services. During the exhibition, Sri Lanka’s Ambassador for Scandinavian countries Darshana Perera assured his fullest support to expand the company’s business in the region.
During their visit to Amsterdam, the Fcode Labs delegation met Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to the Netherlands Aruni Ranaraja and had a fruitful discussion that focused on strengthening bilateral ties and exploring new avenues of collaboration. By the end of the tour, Fcode Labs secured a business partnership with a Netherlands company, which is working on railways-related projects.
“While Fcode Labs will be working as the engineering partner for the company in the coming years, many potential partnerships with several other companies are also under discussion,” said Fcode Co-Chief Executive Officer Tharindu Malawaraachchi.
Fcode Labs, one of the leading software engineering companies, is based in Sri Lanka as well as Singapore. It is currently providing services for several parties, including but not limited to governments, multinational organisations, universities and higher education institutions and start-ups in many parts of the world, with a focus on projects related to health-technology, product engineering, digital transformation, AI and blockchain technology.
