On the verge of completing two years of the programme, the 2013 batch of MBA/MSc./MPM in Management Programme of the University Sri Jayewardenepura, decided to have their annual get-together couple of months prior to their course completion. The endeavour was a consequence of the initial idea put forward by the coordinator of the MBA/MSc./MPM programme, Dr. Janak Kumarasinghe, who identified the importance of network building among the MBA students. At his request, it was decided to extend the invitation to the other two current batches of the programme, namely 2014 and 2015, in an effort to improve the networking and interaction among the batches. With Dr. Kumarasinghe’s instigating of giving responsibilities to representatives from all three batches, the final organising committee comprised of students from all three batches lead by the 2013 batch.
