Thursday’s Ease of Doing Business Forum postponed

As the funeral of Ven. Maduluwawe Sobitha Thera is scheduled to be held on November 12 with state honours, the Finance Ministry yesterday said the scheduled meeting of the ‘Ease of Doing Business Forum’ will not be held on that day.

The government has also declared November 12 as a day of mourning. The new date of the fifth meeting of the Ease of Doing Business Forum will be notified later.

Finance Ministry has so far held four sessions of the Ease of Doing Business Forum 2015 where the private sector could obtain instant redresses to their business matters through the public sector regulatory agencies.
