Siripala wins two awards at European Award Night 2015

Two distinguish awards have been awarded to S.D. Siripala at the Prime Business Destinations Forum (European Award Night) held at Intercontinental Carlton Hotel, Cannes, France. This summit was organised by the Europe Business Assembly of Oxford United Kingdom. 

More than 50 countries including European, Asian and African countries were present at this summit.

These awards are given to businesses which have achieved great success in the growth of their company alongside the implementation of best practices in the fields of environment, employment and management. 

The award winners are elected by the Socrates Committee of Oxford UK.

These awards have been received by S.D. Siripala, the Managing Director of Southern Agrocraft (Pvt.) Ltd of Sri Lanka, who has offered a natural and environmental friendly coconut fibre garden pot as a plastic substitute and natural and environmental friendly coconut husk wood as wood substitute to the European market. Siripala received the ‘Manager of the Year’ award and Southern Agrocraft (Pvt.) Ltd received the ‘Best Enterprises in the Field of Agriculture’ award.

Also, Southern Agrocraft received the right (licence) to use the Europe Business Assembly logo and award images on its products, website, publishing and other advertising for five years from October 5, 2015.
