Lanka Hospitals hosts gala dinner for consultant doctors

More than 300 resident and visiting medical consultants of Lanka Hospitals joined the Chairman and board of directors for a light evening of fellowship at Cinnamon Grand Oak Room recently.

The evening saw the official launch of a blog and an email group, created to bridge the communication gap between the hospital’s higher administration and its clinical backbone, the valued consultant doctors. The official website of Lanka Hospitals - www.lankahospitals.com - was also relaunched with a brand-new interface and other progressive changes aimed at serving local and international patients.

Lanka Hospitals Chairman Dr. Sarath Paranavitane speaking at the event shared the future plans including the positive outlook to accept the invitation to manage a 1000-bed hospital, the expansion of medical services, the increase of staff strength and new constructions to accommodate more beds.
