A steady rise in digital health adoption across Sri Lanka is translating into a stronger top-line performance for eChannelling PLC, the nation’s leading digital health platform, as consumer behaviour shows increasing reliance on virtual healthcare access.

The first quarter of 2025 saw appointment volumes at eChannelling grow 8 percent year-on-year, reflecting continued user confidence in remote consultations, artificial intelligence (AI)-driven support and doorstep medicine delivery. The company’s reach now covers over 90 percent of Sri Lanka’s private hospitals and channelling centres, an expansion accelerated by the onboarding of 22 hospitals and 23 pharmacies during the quarter.

The broader shift towards healthcare convenience was further reinforced by a strong uptake of the platform’s new offerings: ePremium, a customer loyalty programme, eHospital, a virtual hospital interface and eSubscription, an AI-powered unlimited teleconsultation service. These services are part of eChannelling’s strategy to embed deeper into Sri Lanka’s digital health ecosystem.

Backed by this momentum, eChannelling reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue of Rs.67 million in 1Q25, a 17 percent increase from the same period last year.

“We are proud to witness eChannelling playing a trailblazing role in Sri Lanka’s digital transformation journey, especially in the healthcare sector,” said eChannelling PLC and SLT Group Chairman Dr. Mothilal De Silva.
