Ceylon Chamber’s ‘Aarthika Dishaanathiya’ to focus on ‘Fiscal Policy’ this week

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, the country’s premier business chamber will line up three key political representatives from the Government and the Opposition to discuss Sri Lanka’s ‘fiscal policy’ on its ‘Aarthika Dishaanathiya’ TV program which is being conducted via Rupavahini.

Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake, former UPFA MP, Bandula Gunawardena and former JVP MP, Sunil Handunnetti will take part in the discussion, which will aired live on Rupavahini at 10.20 pm on August 4th .

The program, an initiative of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, which was started on July 21st , is aimed at intensely discussing and debating the ‘Sri Lankan economy and the way forward’ with policy makers and the plans they have in hand to lift the national economy to the next level.

The first program which was conducted on the 21st of this month discussed the title ‘Economic Vision’ with the participation of the Deputy Minister, Dr. Harsha De Silva, former UPFA MP Bandula Gunawardena and former JVP MP Sunil Handunneti. The second program was conducted on the 28th of July and it focused on ‘Trade and Investment’ and saw the participation of the Deputy Minister, Eran Wickremaratne, former UPFA MP, Mohan Lal Grero and the former JVP MP Bimal Ratnayake.

The program is moderated by Mangala P. B. Yapa – Secretary General / CEO of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and Dr. Udan Fernando.
