Zahira College ‘Crescent Lights ’16’ sponsors make presentations

The ‘Crescent Lights 2016’ exhibition and fun fair organised by the Old Boys’ Association of Zahira College with the college authorities will be held from September 2 to 4, 2016 commencing at 2:30 p.m. each day at the college grounds. This will be the first of a series of events for the anniversary year 2016/17.
The exhibition by the college students will focus on the numerous co-curricular activities of the college – young inventors, science and Islam, history, agriculture, water rocket, dramatics, ICT, vocational training, archives, scouting and unique Zahira. The students have prepared their exhibits to make it very interesting and innovative. It has given the students an opportunity to bring out their hidden and creative talents.
The trade stalls form a major part of the carnival with a variety of products and services while there will be a number of food stalls offering a variety of dishes.
Major corporate sector stalls form another part of the event. The amusement and fun area provides activities for the adults and kids. 
The sponsors of the Crescent Lights made their presentations at a special ceremony held recently. Wijeya Newspapers is the official print media sponsor of the event.
