Voyage Sri Lanka 2025 extends early bird deadline to Sept. 15

The Voyage Sri Lanka 2025 international marine summit, organised by the Sri Lanka Export Development Board, will unfold on October 16, 2025, at The Kingsbury Hotel, Colombo and the early bird registration deadline is extended, offering a 10 percent discount for registrations on or before September 15. 

The inaugural Voyage Sri Lanka summit was successfully held in 2024. The upcoming edition of Voyage Sri Lanka Marine Summit, under the theme ‘Unveiling the Blue Economy Potential of Sri Lanka’, marks its second year and is expected to draw over 300 participants from 12 countries.

The summit will focus on shipbuilding and ship repair, offshore services, boat building, offshore wind farming, fisheries and aquaculture and nautical tourism. Stakeholders from the public and private sectors, including entrepreneurs, investors and industry experts, are expected to participate in this landmark event.

The summit holds significant importance for Sri Lanka, offering a platform to unlock its vast potential and harness the full benefits of a sustainable blue economy. 

Three insightful panel discussions will explore the opportunities of the blue economy in Sri Lanka. The panels will be held under the topics of ‘Trincomalee as the Strategic Gateway to Sri Lanka’s Blue Economy’, ‘Energising Sri Lanka’s Blue Economy: Offshore Oil and Gas Exploration and LNG Infrastructure as Economic Game Changers’ and ‘Charting a Course for Growth: Synergising Boat Building and Nautical Tourism for Sri Lanka’s Blue Economy’.

Voyage Sri Lanka 2025 will serve as a platform to attract international investment into Sri Lanka’s marine and offshore services, boat-building and nautical tourism industries, while also fostering global partnerships to drive sustainable economic growth across the Indian Ocean region.
