Velvet, Sri Lanka’s leading beauty soap brand, is now giving you the opportunity to celebrate and appreciate the women in your life.

The initiative launched on the International Women’s Day will run as an islandwide activation until March 14 giving people across Sri Lanka the chance to share their appreciation and admiration for the women in their lives. The Velvet team will visit 42 towns across Sri Lanka in the Western Province, Eastern, Southern and celebrating the softer sides of caring and inspirational women.
To participate in the initiative, all you have to do is call the hotline on 9900 or connect with the Velvet Facebook site and share your story about a special woman in your life, whose love, gentleness, thoughtfulness have made a lasting impact on you. A total of 100 stories will be randomly selected and rewarded with an array of cash prizes and gifts for the nominee and nominator.
These appreciations will be aired on national radio, seen on television and showcased on newspapers in the coming weeks.
Velvet soaps are available in a range of fragrances including Rose & Pomegranate for youthful skin, Milk & Almond for nourished skin and Sandalwood & Venivel for radiant skin. The range also includes Kohombo & Aloe for clear skin and Purple Lotus & Lavender for glowing skin, Water Lily & Sea Minerals for rejuvenated skin and the latest introduction Honey & Yoghurt for moisturized skin.
