Tax Awareness Day for liquor licensees

A special one-day awareness workshop and gathering for liquor license holders island wide is to  take place in Negombo. 

Organised by the Sri Lanka Liquor Licensees Association (SLLLA), the event will be held in line with the national ‘Badu Shakthi’ Tax Week initiative. 

The event will be held on June 14, from 9.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. at Avenra Garden Hotel in Negombo. 

The programme is being organised with the support and presence of officials from the Ministry of Finance, the Revenue Administration, Reforms and Innovation Division of the Presidential Secretariat, the Sri Lanka Excise Department, and the Inland Revenue Department.

Throughout the day, liquor licensees will receive updates and guidance on taxation procedures, current regulations, and ways to ensure smooth operations in line with the law.  

They will also be able to directly engage with officials, clarify issues, and stay informed on upcoming changes. Attendees can also expect a few entertainment features and refreshments.
