Softlogic Holdings gets SEC deferment on trading suspension until November

Softlogic Holdings PLC has received a temporary reprieve from the Securities & Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC), which has deferred the planned suspension of trading in the company’s shares until 30 November 2025.

The securities of Softlogic Holdings were initially moved to SEC’s watch list on 28 November 2023 and again on 25 April 2024, following auditor concerns regarding the company’s ability to continue as a going concern for the financial years ended 31 March 2022 and 31 March 2023.

The suspension had been scheduled to take effect today (1 September 2025). However, the SEC’s latest decision provides the company additional time to address its financial position.
