Sampath Bank onboards CDB as 1st API banking corporate client

Sampath Bank has onboarded Citizens Development Business Finance PLC (CDB) as the first corporate client to integrate with its API banking platform, enabling seamless and secure payments processing directly from CDB’s ERP system. 

This innovative banking platform was initiated as part of the portfolio of products offered under ‘transaction banking’ at Sampath Bank, becoming the first bank to do so in Sri Lanka. The introduction of this standardised API banking platform is a milestone in the country’s financial services sector.
