SPiCE South Asia 2026 to kick start on 23 March



With just two weeks remaining, the 7th Annual Strategic Platform for iGaming Conference & Exhibition (SPiCE South Asia 2026) is preparing to welcome policymakers, operators, investors, and industry experts to Sri Lanka for three days of strategic dialogue and regional collaboration.

Taking place from 23 – 26 March 2026 at the Shangri-La Colombo, one of the city’s most distinguished luxury venues, the summit will provide an unforgettable setting for policymakers, investors, and industry leaders engaging in discussions on regulation, investment, technology, and responsible growth.

Anchored by the theme “Responsible Growth. Regional Progress.”, SPiCE South Asia 2026 brings together executives from across the gaming and digital entertainment sectors to examine practical pathways for sustainable market development. The agenda will frame regional progress in ways that inspire actionable plans and constructive partnerships.

Alongside the conference programme, the event will feature networking highlights including the renowned SP’iCE Breaker Welcoming Evening, a lively opening reception designed to bring the industry together and get the conversations flowing from the very first evening, as well as the SPiCE South Asia Eventus Awards Ceremony and an optional networking excursion designed to foster deeper engagement among attendees.

Chanaki Mallikarachchi, Director (Information & Communication Technology) at the Ministry of Digital Economy, will share her perspective on the role of digital infrastructure, innovation, and policy in supporting Sri Lanka’s broader economic transformation.

Chanaki will be among the distinguished voices contributing to the discussions at SPiCE South Asia 2026, offering attendees the opportunity to hear directly from government leadership on Sri Lanka’s digital transformation journey.

The SPiCE South Asia Awards 2026 will recognise organisations and individuals whose work has advanced innovation, operational excellence, and responsible growth within the gaming ecosystem.

Industry participants are invited to submit nominations before 13 March 2026, with the official shortlist scheduled for release on 18 March 2026.
