SLID - Huwaei CXO Forum 

Sri Lanka Institute of Directors (SLID) in partnership with Huawei Sri Lanka, hosted its CXO Forum 2025 on 14 July at Cinnamon Grand Colombo, bringing together over 100 banking and finance leaders to explore how technology can help banks innovate while managing risk. 

Themed “Can Banks De-Risk & Innovate in This Hyper-Competitive Age with Technology?”, the event featured keynote addresses from Dr. P. Nandalal Weerasinghe, Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, and Huck Siang LIM, Chief Digital Officer of Huawei Asia Pacific Enterprise Finance. A high-level panel discussion included leaders from Huawei, Union Bank, and LOLC Finance, moderated by Shanaka De Silva of Ernst & Young.
