Radisson Blu Resort Galle appoints Medhatithi Bhattacharjee as GM

Radisson Blu Resort Galle has announced the appointment of Medhatithi Bhattacharjee as its new General Manager, effective 1 July 2026.

Medhatithi brings nearly two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, having held senior leadership positions across internationally recognized hotel brands. His expertise spans hotel operations, commercial performance, guest experience, and talent development, with a strong track record in leading high-performing teams and driving operational excellence.

Prior to joining Radisson Blu Resort Galle, he served as Cluster General Manager for Namah Resort Jim Corbett and Namah Nainital, both members of Radisson Individuals. In this role, he successfully managed multi-property operations, strengthened financial performance, and led strategic initiatives focused on service excellence and organizational growth.

His contributions to the hospitality industry were recognized when he was named Hotelier India’s ‘Young GM of the Year 2025’, reflecting his commitment to operational leadership and innovation.

Medhatithi has built much of his career within Radisson Hotel Group, holding leadership positions including at Radisson Blu Plaza Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience in hotel management, commercial strategy, guest engagement, and developing people-centric cultures aligned with international hospitality standards.

In his new role, Medhatithi will oversee the overall operations of Radisson Blu Resort Galle, with responsibility for driving business performance, strengthening guest satisfaction, enhancing operational efficiencies, and supporting the continued growth of the resort.
