Pradeep Kahawalage elected CNCI Chairman

Pradeep Kahawalage was elected as the Chairman of Ceylon National Chamber of Industries (CNCI) at the 64thAnnual General Meeting (AGM) held recently. The AGM was held on August 26 at the Hotel Taj Samudra, Colombo. 

Pradeep Kahawalage is a distinguished professional whose academic and professional credentials demonstrate a strong dedication to excellence in both engineering and business leadership. 

Kahawalage holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He is an Associate of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka. He is also a Chartered Engineer. 

Kahawalage currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Richardson Engineering (Pvt) Ltd, which is one of the leading producers of electrical poles for the Ceylon Electricity Board and a sleeper producer for the Sri Lanka Railway Department.
