People’s Bank triumphs at 6th Governor’s Challenge Trophy Quiz

The quiz team from People’s Bank emerged as champions at sixth Governor’s Challenge Trophy Corporate Quiz Competition for Global Commerce Excellence 2025, held recently at Galadari Hotel, Colombo. 

This marks the second consecutive win for the People’s Bank team, reaffirming their dominance in this prestigious corporate mind sport.

Competing against over 40 teams representing a diverse array of corporates from across the country, People’s Bank outperformed all contenders to secure the coveted trophy. The Central Bank Team B and Seylan Bank clinched the second and third places, respectively.

Organised by Shippers’ Academy International, in collaboration with the Central Bank of Sri Lanka and International Quizzing Association (IQA), the Governor’s Challenge Trophy Quiz is a celebrated event in the corporate calendar. This year’s competition was conducted by the IQA’s Sri Lanka representative and renowned quiz master Ruwan Senanayake, whose expertise added both credibility and excitement to the event.

The victorious team from People’s Bank was composed of:
