People’s Bank builds pathway at Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi

People’s Bank recently carried out the latest initiative under its ‘Mahajana Mehewara’ CSR program by constructing and inaugurating the pathway (Pethmaga) leading to the western gate of the Anuradhapura Sacred Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi.

The official opening ceremony was graced by the presence of Atamasthanadhipathi and Chief Sanghanayake of the Nuwara Kalaviya, Most Venerable Dr. Pallegama Hemarathana Nayaka Thero. 

People’s Bank Chairman Prof. Narada Fernando, Chief Executive Officer/General Manager Clive Fonseka, Head of Marketing Nalaka Wijayawardana, Deputy General Manager – Channel Management Naleen Pathiranage, Deputy General Manager – Banking Support Services Indumini Ratnayake, Anuradhapura Regional Manager Tissa Tennakoon, along with other bank staff members, were also present at the occasion.
