PABC public holding up to 60% after Bansei exit



Pan Asia Banking Corporation PLC yesterday said its public shareholding rose to 60.01 percent as of July 14, following a stake reduction by its second-largest shareholder, Bansei Securities Co., Ltd.

The public holding stood at 55.01 percent at end-June, the bank said in a stock exchange filing.

In a disclosure, PABC attributed the increase to the disposal of 22.1 million shares by Bansei Securities, the filing added.

Pan Asia Bank’s shares last traded at Rs. 52.30.
