Orange Electric announced the repositioning of its flagship influencer engagement initiative - the ‘Orange Electricians Society’ with a new vision as ‘Hasarella’ - a name in Sinhala that symbolises laughter, smiles, and shared joy.
First introduced as the pioneering program of its kind in Sri Lanka, the Orange Electricians Society today stands as the largest community of electricians in the country, with a membership of over 14,000 and growing.
The new ‘Hasarella’ programme is built around a powerful vision to enhance the quality of life of electricians, their families, and the communities they live in. It goes far beyond rewards, focusing on holistic development through initiatives in social security, financial management, educational impact, environmental protection, and sustainability.
“Hasarella is more than a program – it’s a movement of togetherness,”We are walking hand in hand with those who power our homes and cities, not just to recognise their work, but to uplift their lives and create a lasting change that will resonate throughout future generations.”
The upgraded ‘Hasarella’ programme will offer:
Enhanced Rewards – tangible benefits for consistent engagement and loyalty.
Skill Development & recognition – workshops, certifications, engagement with orange product development, recognition as “orange approved” in the industry.
Community Building – exclusive networking events where experts from various fields such as finance, security, education, etc will share their knowledge to enhance the quality of life of not only the electricians and their immediate families but also the communities they live in.
Digital Integration – Introducing new dedicated digital platforms such as whatapp channels for tracking rewards, accessing resources, and staying updated.
