Medihelp opens 20th branch in Ambalangoda

Medihelp Hospitals officially inaugurated its 20th facility in Ambalangoda recently.

This marks the organization’s first entry into the Southern Province as part of its national expansion journey.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by several notable guests, including Asela Godahewa, Mayor of Ambalangoda Urban Council, along with other prominent dignitaries. The event featured the Chairman and Board of Directors of Medihelp Hospitals, management and staff members, guests, and media representatives.

The new Medihelp Ambalangoda branch is equipped to offer a comprehensive range of healthcare services. These include an emergency treatment unit, outpatient department (OPD), specialist consultations, a pharmacy, a fully automated diagnostic laboratory, a digital X-ray unit, ultrasound scanners, echocardiography, exercise ECG, and an endoscopy unit. 

Managing Director of Medihelp Hospitals, Chandika Wijesiriwardana, emphasized that the Ambalangoda branch represents not only the company’s 20th location but also a significant step towards realizing its broader vision of establishing a comprehensive national healthcare network.
