Kim Kyung Hwan, Vice Minister of Korea’s Ministry of lands, Infrastructure and Transport visited SriLanka this week.
He was accompanied by high-level and a large business delegation comprising of both state-owned and private corporations representing the infrastructure sector, including Korea Expressway Corporation, Korea Land and Housing Corporation, and Korea Water Resources Corporation. The growing economic cooperation between Sri Lanka and Korea prompted the official visit, which is expected to be a great opportunity. Korean Vice Minister and the delegation met the Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade, Malik Samarawickrama and had discussions to promote trade and investments between Sri Lanka and Korea.
