LOLC General Insurance honoured as a Company with Great Managers

LOLC General Insurance has been recognised as a Company with Great Managers for 2024, at the prestigious Great Manager Awards 2024, hosted by the Colombo Leadership Academy in collaboration with People Business for Leadership Excellence.

Participating in the programme for the first time, LOLC General Insurance not only secured this prestigious title but also saw seven of its outstanding leaders individually recognised for their leadership excellence across several key pillars, including Driving Results and Execution Excellence, Aligning Organisational Vision and Building Team Effectiveness and Collaboration. 

The coveted Company with Great Managers Award was proudly accepted by LOLC General Insurance CEO Nimal Perera, symbolising the organisation’s collective vision and commitment to cultivating impactful leadership across the company. In the individual categories, Suranga Wewegedara and Ahilan Chandraraj were awarded the Great Manager awards for Aligning Organisation Vision. Udaya Kumara, Dinusha Thilanka, Maheshika Perera and Chandana Amarasinge were awarded the Great Manager awards for Driving Results and Execution Excellence while Darshana Maldeniya was awarded the Great Manager for Team Effectiveness and Collaboration. 

The Company with Great Manager award recognises the organisation for its credibility and best practices in nurturing exceptional leadership through a strong and sustainable leadership culture. This initiative is aiming towards identifying, assessing and recognising organisations that consistently develop great managers, benchmarking them against best in the industry.
