JKH regains crown from CTC as most valuable listed firm

With recent gains in trading, diversified conglomerate John Keells Holdings PLC (JKH) re-emerged as the most valuable listed corporate in the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE).
JKH has reached a market capitalization of Rs.195.33 billion or 7.64 percent of CSE’s total market capitalization, ousting British American Tobacco’s local unit, 


Ceylon Tobacco Company PLC, which has a market capitalization of Rs.182.96 billion.

Nestle Lanka PLC consolidated itself in third place with a market capitalization of Rs.124.27 billion, while the country’s largest private bank, Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC, came in fourth with Rs.108.26 million in market capitalization.


JKH’s dairy and beverage subsidiary Ceylon Cold Stores PLC crept into the top 10, coming in at ninth place, with a market capitalization of Rs.56.17 billion
