HNB Finance appoints Ramanika Unamboowe to board

HNB Finance PLC announced the appointment of Ramanika Unamboowe as an Independent Non-Executive Director, effective June 4, 2025.

Unamboowe brings with her a wealth of experience and academic distinction. 

She holds a Master of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from the Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the American University of Paris, France.

Unamboowe most recently served as Executive Vice President Human Resources at Nations Trust Bank, where she concluded a distinguished 22-year tenure. During her time at the bank, she held several key leadership roles in both corporate banking and human resources, contributing significantly to the institution’s growth.

Prior to joining Nations Trust Bank, Unamboowe was a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager at American Express Bank, Colombo, further strengthening her expertise in the financial services sector.
